I agree with you, Shanique. All things work together for good to them that love God. He gives us His best, and it is only when we go outside of His script for our lives that we find ourselves brokenhearted, rejected, and emotionally wounded. My advise to all Christian youth is to wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He will bring it to pass.

excellent article and anyalsis of the life of Whitney Houston. The devil’s main purpose is to rob, steal, kill and destroy. SMH, her death is really bothering me because I am sure there were family members and friends praying for her that she would get help and go to rehab, but that was sadly not the case. I remember when I first heard her voice and saw her video for the Greatest Love of All as a little girl and that song made me feel like I could do anything and be anything that I wanted to be. Listening to this song over the weekend that song was not about just loving oneself, but about the love of Jesus living inside of us and being mantifested in our everyday lives. The love that Jesus had for us by dying for our sins on the cross and that love has no bounds. It is sad that the things of this world often cause us to forget this. Satan was the an angel of music before he was kicked out of heaven and that can be connected to the success of entertainers in the secular music industry look at the extreme highs and lows experienced by Whitney and others in the industry. I believe the devil controls the industry on a spritual level and the results tend to be the same: huge successes, money, fame and the rock bottom end where a never ending void of emptiness can never be filled no matter how much drugs or alcohol one consumes. Jesus is the answer to a broken heart and a troubled mind, it’s hard for some to realize this when they are caught up. I just hope that Jesus was was able to minister to Whitney after she sang Jesus Love Me and she accepted him into heart in her final moments of life. What does it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul. Nothing on this earth is worth that. I am a work in progress and know there are areas in my life that only God can fix and I have to make a continous effort for that to happen by reading my bible everyday and going to church every Sunday. Asking for prayer to get strengthen to avoid temptation and bad behavior/making bad decisions. No one said being saved and living right was going to be easy, but it’s worth in the end.
