If you have read the news media and kept up with current affairs, you know that there is a recession going on. Believe it or not, it has affected the whole nation.
Our country has experienced a high unemployment rate, high gas prices, foreclosures, raised taxes, loss of income and lower hours – the list goes on and on. This has caused people to get into debt, become stressed out, and cause poor health conditions that can lead to death. (John 10:10)
God constantly reminds his people that He is the Source. In Philippians 4:19, God said that He would supply ALL our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. God wants believers to seek Him and His way of doing things first, and to take Him at His Word.
The world is putting too much confidence in the government system and not trusting the kingdom of God. God wants to establish His covenant throughout the earth for the benefit of all mankind; however, for Him to be able to do so, He must have the committed cooperation of the Believers.
It is God’s will that Believers prosper in ALL areas of their lives, financially, spiritually, and physically (3 John 2). Living paycheck to paycheck is not your idea and it’s not God’s plan for you. The Believers are to live having MORE THAN ENOUGH, instead of NOT HAVING ENOUGH.
Having more than enough will allow you to help someone in need, such as paying off someone’s tuition, mortgage, utility bills, and rent, or even helping to start a business or ministry.
Luke 6:38 reads “Give (bless) and you will be blessed (given), a great amount, overflowing, more than enough, back into your life and it won’t stop, the more you give, more than enough continues to flow.”
Now ask yourself this question: Are You Satisfied with Mediocrity or Would You Rather Have More Than Enough?

Good Stuff!!!This is definitely good food for the soul! I know one thing I desire to have MORE THAN ENOUGH !!!Thanks again !!!
I rather be a blessing to someone than being blessed by someone. I have Jesus and that’s enough blessing by itself. My cup will run over, in the name of JESUS. My sis, continue letting GOD use you for his purpose. Their are some many people need this word from God.
Thx Aisha…another good read!!!! Definitely learning the gift of blessing as well as being blessed!!! It takes some work & sacrafice for me but I’m working hard to be the Woman that the Father has destined for me to be!!!!
Thank you for another life lesson that will most definitely help me in getting there!!!!!
Aisha’s articles always puts life in perspective. Reading them would make anybody feel good.
I am truly blessed, my cup is over flowing, and I drink from the saucer! I thank God everyday for all of my blessing and I share and give from the heart. I know a closed fist, heart and mind cannot not receive God’s blessing, so open up and share with love!
Bless you Aisha and all of your loved ones!
